This Friday, February 3, we will be dedicating our new scorer's table to longtime South Haven Coach Vince Bowman. The short ceremony will take place immediately before the varsity boys game at approximately 7:00 pm. We invite everyone to come and help us celebrate this man who did so much for the students of South Haven Publics Schools.
Despite a snow day for both schools, tonight's JV and varsity boys basketball games at Allegan are set to be played as scheduled.
Middle school basketball and wrestling will NOT practice on Friday, January 27.
The 6th grade basketball jamboree is still on for tomorrow (1/28) at Watervliet. Look for communication from Coach Brzezinski in regard to transportation.
Friday, January 27 is a snow day for South Haven Public Schools. Athletes can look to this site, or look for communication from their coaches, regarding events and practices for today. Please note that any extracurricular activity on a snow day is VOLUNTARY, and athletes and their parents have the right to not participate if they don't feel safe on the roads.

6th grade basketball practice has also been cancelled for Wednesday, 1/25. Sorry for the delay. All three MS girls basketball teams have cancelled practice for Wednesday.
8th grade basketball practice is also cancelled for Wednesday, 1/25/23.
7th grade basketball practice is cancelled for Wednesday, 1/25/23. Practice will resume at the regular time tomorrow.
Middle School Basketball: Delton-Kellogg school are closed today and, as is their policy, they will not be hosting any MS events. Therefore there will not be any MS games today. We are working on rescheduling and will make that information public when it is confirmed.

Middle School Girls Basketball: South Haven will host Lakeshore at Baseline MS in the first round of the All-Area MS Basketball Tournament on 2/2/23. The seventh grade team will play at 4:00, and the 8th grade will follow. Game times on Saturday, 2/4, will be dictated by the results of those first round games.
Just a reminder that the freshman and JV boys basketball games tonight in Three Rivers will be at the middle school, while the boys varsity will be at TR High School.
This year's Winterfest and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on different days.
Winterfest will be the week of February 13-19 and be celebrated at the home basketball game on 2/17/23.
This year's HOF induction will take place on Friday, 2/24/23.

The next alumni student/athlete to be inducted into the South Haven High School Athletic Hall of Fame has been announced by South Haven High School Athletic Director, Adam Verseput. This year’s honoree is Grace (Carver) Gray. She is a 2012 graduate of South Haven High School and an 8-time varsity letter winner in Cross Country and Track & Field. During her tenure (2009-2012) she was recognized with numerous awards at the local, conference, and state levels. An all-around student, Grace was very active in music, National Honor Society, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and her church as a youth group leader. The induction will be held between basketball games on February 24, 2023.
Please note that this Saturday's (1/28) conference swim meet against Alma will be located in Plainwell, not at Allegan as previously listed.

When the South Have Boys Basketball Program travels to Three Rivers next Tuesday (1/24) there will be a slight change in location.
The freshmen (4:15) and JV (5:45) will be playing at Three Rivers Middle School.
The varsity team will be playing at Three Rivers HS (7:15).
