This Thursday (2/9) both boys swim and HS bowling will be celebrating their seniors . Bowling competes at Lakeside at 4:00 pm against Coloma, and the swim & dive team will be hosting Holland at 6:00 pm. Come out and help us celebrate these athletes tomorrow night.
In their inaugural season in the SAC Conference, the South Haven Varsity Wrestling Team finished 5th out of 13 schools. Not bad when you consider that the conference features Constantine (ranked #8 in the state in D3), Martin (#5 in D4) and Lawton (#8 in D4). Congratulations gentlemen. The team is in action again this Thursday (2/9) when they participate in the MHSAA Team District Tournament at Allegan.
Spring sports are a little over a month away!! HS spring sports begin practice on Monday, March 13. School-sponsored MS sports sports begin on Wednesday, March 22.

Freshman Boys Basketball -- because of a scheduling conflict, the game originally scheduled to be at Buchanan on 2/17 has been moved to 4:15 pm on Monday, 2/20. This change should be reflected in the online schedule.
High school wrestling will soon be participating in MHSAA competition. The team district competition will be held at Allegan HS this year on Thursday, February 9. Individual districts will take place again at Constantine HS on Saturday, February 11.
MHSAA Competitive Cheer District Competition will take place on Saturday, February 18 at Paw Paw High School. The event has been added to our online schedules and will begin at 10:00 AM.
Middle School Wrestling -- next week's MS jamboree on Thursday, 2/9/23, will be held at Schoolcraft High School (rather than their MS).
Lake Michigan College will be on hand at halftime of this coming Tuesday's (2/7) varsity basketball game to promote their school and give away some freebies to lucky fans.
This Friday, February 3, there will be a couple of notable events going on at the basketball games hosted by South Haven High School. The girls will play at 5:30 and the boys at 7:00 pm.
Immediately before the boys varsity game we will be dedicating our new scorer's table to longtime South Haven Coach Vince Bowman.
We would like to invite all Lil Ram's Players to the games. Every Lil Ram's that wears his or her shirt will get in FREE and take a PICTURE with all RAMS at halftime of the varsity boys game.
The South Haven Pep Band will be playing at both the boys and girls games this Friday.
Following the boys varsity game there will be an alumni game at approximately 9:00 pm. The game will be broadcast on the NFHS Network, and admission will be included in the price of a regular ticket.
Hopefully this will be a fun night for everyone involved. Come out and cheer on the Rams at SHHS.

A message for HS athletes: All those interested in joining the Ram Football Program please attend a meeting during Ram Hour on Thursday, February, 2nd in the HS gym.
There will be a slight change in tomorrow's (1/31/23) home basketball schedule at SHHS.
The JV boys will play first at 4:15 against the West Michigan Hornets. The freshman team will play next at approximately 5:30 against Kalamazoo Hackett, and the varsity team will play against Hackett as scheduled at 7:00 pm. Sorry for any confusion.
