Interested in serving the students of South Haven by joining the Board of Education? Here's your chance! This November, the South Haven Public Schools community will have the opportunity to vote on three, 4-year seats on the Board of Education, but that campaign process for interested citizens starts NOW!

Nominating Petition

The required number of signatures for South Haven Public Schools candidates is a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 100. A separate petition is needed for each township and city, of each county, in which signatures are obtained within the district. Please ensure the top portion of the petition is filled out prior to being circulated. The circulator must complete the bottom portion after signatures have been obtained.

OR

A candidate may bypass the collection of signatures by submitting a $100 non-refundable fee.

Affidavit of Identity

All candidates must submit an Affidavit of Identity in duplicate when filing for office.

Statement of Organization Form

This form is only required to be filed by a candidate if they spend or have contributions over $1,000.

REQUIRED: All school board applicants must live in the South Haven Public School District.

All candidate must submit their petitions or $100 non-refundable fee and Affidavit of Identity to the County Clerk's Office (212 E. Paw Paw St., STE 101, Paw Paw, MI 49079) by July 23, 2024 at 4:00 PM.
