Middle School Girls Basketball -- tryouts for girls in grades 6-8 will be held on Jan. 3-Jan. 5 from 5:00-7:00 pm in Baseline's Gym. Girls wishing to participate MUST have a physical on file in order to try out. Any questions can be directed to Adam Verseput at averseput@shps.org
HS Basketball -- Out of an abundance of caution, the boys varsity and boys JV basketball teams will NOT play this week. Both Tuesday's (12/14) and Friday's games (12/17) will be rescheduled to a later date. Freshman basketball and varsity girls basketball WILL play on Friday at SHHS. The freshmen will play at 5:00 pm and the girls varsity game will follow. Sorry for any confusion this may cause.
Bowling originally scheduled for this Thursday (12/16) home vs. Gobles, has been cancelled due to conflicts with the Collage Concert. The competition will be rescheduled at a later date.

Middle school basketball -- the last game of the year for both 7th and 8th grade was originally next Thursday (12/16) at Buchanan. This conflicts with the Collage Concert, so the game has been rescheduled for Wednesday (12/15) at HOME instead. The 7th grade will begin at 4:30 and the 8th will begin at 5:30.
Boys HS basketball opens their season this Tuesday (12/7) hosting the Lakeshore Lancers. Freshman play at 4:15, JV at 5:45 and varsity 7:00. The varsity game will be audio streamed on the South Haven Rams Network at: http://webca.st/203287
The Little Rams Boys Youth Basketball Program will begin in January. Sign-ups will be in the South Haven High School Cafeteria on Tuesday, December 7 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, and at Baseline Middle School on Saturday, December 11 from 10:00 am-noon. NOTE TO SPORTS PARENTS: An increasing number of local districts are now requiring masks of spectators and coaches as we move into the winter season. For example, Lakeshore, St. Joseph & Kalamazoo Public Schools will require masks if you travel to an away event next week. South Haven Athletics recommends you plan on bringing a mask to all away events, and asks that you comply with whatever local rules are in place. Thank you!!
Middle School Cheer -- we have added an additional meet and it should now be reflected in the online schedule. The girls will travel to Grandville on 12/10 at 5:30 pm to compete in the CCAM Scholarship Meet.

Meet the Team Night for South Haven High School Winter Sports will be held at Listiak Auditorium tonight (Tuesday, November 23). The event is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm.
The night will begin with a large group presentation of South Haven Athletic Policy, and individual sport-specific team meetings will follow. Parents and athletes are strongly encouraged to attend.
6th grade basketball -- Masks will be required of all coaches, fans and players today (11/22) at Comstock HS.
7th & 8th grade basketball @ Benton Harbor -- Masks are required today for all spectators at Benton Harbor Fairplain MS. Players must wear masks when on the bench but may remove them on the court.
6th grade basketball -- the basketball games tomorrow at the HS are still on, with the doors opening at 7:30 am and the first game at 8:30.
