High School Soccer -- Due to impending weather, the soccer games at Holland Black River are cancelled for today, 8/29. We have tentatively rescheduled both for tomorrow, Tuesday, 8/30 at the same time and place.
Girls Golf -- The start time for the SAC jamboree scheduled for 9/12 at Blossom Trails has been moved from 3:30 to 1:00 pm.

Thursday's cancelled tennis match at Plainwell (8/25) has been rescheduled. It will now be at Plainwell on Tuesday, 9/6 at 4:00 pm. This change should now be reflected in the online schedule.

Varsity Soccer -- Next Wednesday's game (8/31) at Saugatuck will begin at 6:00 pm rather than the previously posted 5:00 pm. Onlive schedules have now been updated.
The South Haven Athletic Boosters will be selling Ram Gear at Baseline and the HS during Thursday's open house. Bring some $$, buy some Ram Swag.
MS Cross Country -- We have added the Bangor Invitational to our schedule on Saturday, 9/24. This addition should be reflected on the online schedule.
Fall Sports Picture Day -- Will be THIS Friday, August 26 for both MS and HS teams. Picture schedules have already been sent to coaches. This Football Thursday (8/25) at Dowagiac will be Military Appreciation Night. The Chieftains will be celebrating our country, and our servicemen and women. Spectators are encouraged to wear red, white and blue.

Junior Varsity Golf -- We have added matches for JV golf on 9/9, 9/13, 9/21 and 9/29. Please note that JV golf will now appear as a separate schedule on our app and website.
Varsity Tennis -- Just a note that the details of next Tuesday's match (8/30) have changed slightly. The match will now begin at 4:00 pm at Bridgman HS. The changes have been reflected in the online schedule.
Freshman volleyball -- Sorry for another change. It appears that Coloma will have a freshman team afterall, so the Freshman Rams will going to CHS with the JV & varsity on 9/15 for a 5:30 match.

Freshman Volleyball -- There have been some changes to the freshman volleyball schedule over the last seven days. I am hopeful that it is now mostly set. The online version of the schedule should now be accurate. Sorry for the confusion.
Dear Sports Parents -- South Haven Athletics wants you to be aware of our new transportation policy. There is a state-wide shortage of bus drivers and we want to make sure we are transparent in sharing our plan for the coming athletic year:
TRANSPORTATION POLICY FOR 2022-2023:
Recent driver shortages continue to make transportation for athletic events very difficult. In anticipation of continuing shortages, we have modified our transportation policy for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.
Whenever possible, South Haven Athletics will transport our athletes by school bus. We believe it is the safest and most convenient option for travel. However, it is very possible that we will not be able to provide busing in some circumstances.
Rather than completely leave transportation up to individuals and their parents, when busing is not available South Haven Athletics would like to arrange ride sharing in advance. We will attempt to utilize willing and able parents, coaches and other adults to provide transportation to and from athletic contests. South Haven Athletics will make every effort to organize this carpooling before the season begins. If you are able and willing to assist your athlete’s team, and have a safe driving record, we sincerely appreciate your help.
Students may NOT drive themselves to contests. Any parent who is uncomfortable with their athlete riding with another adult always has the option of providing their own transportation.
We realize this is not ideal, but South Haven Athletic is dedicated to making athletic transportation as safe and convenient as possible given the circumstances. Thank you.
