HS wrestling practice will officially begin on Monday, November 15 in the HS Wrestling Room and run from 2:40-5:00 pm. Participants should bring water and appropriate shoes & clothing. Middle School Boys Basketball -- we have a slight change in the game schedule for Monday's (11/8) game at Baseline MS:
4:30 -- 6th grade game vs. Covert. 5:30 -- 7th grade game vs. Brandywine. 6:30 -- 8th grade game vs. Brandywine.

Congratulations to Senior Sydney Barnes!! Last night at MHSAA headquarters in East Lansing, Sydney was named an All-State First Team Golfer. As importantly, Sydney was also named Academic All-State. Congratulations on a great season!!!
High school girls basketball tryouts will take place Monday, 11/8 to Wednesday, 11/10 from 5:00-7:00 pm in the high school gym. All girls wishing to try out MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL on file to participate. All girls, even without a lot of playing experience, are welcome.

Starting Wednesday, November 17, teams will divide up into their regular practice slots. JV boys basketball will practice at Lincoln from 4-6 pm. Freshman boys basketball will practice at Lincoln from 6-8 pm.

South Haven Varsity Cross Country finished their season this Saturday (10/30) against some extremely tough competition at their MHSAA Division 2 Regional in Otsego. Senior Carson Rooker finished 23rd overall with a time of 17:44. Ben Meyer finished 37th (18:17), Luke Prong 54th (19:03) and Corban Morrison 74th (20:07). Congratulations, runners on a good season.

Does your athlete have a valid physical?
High School winter sports begin in November and middle school basketball begins this Monday (10/25). All athletes in grades 6-12 wishing to participate in a school-sponsored sport MUST have a current physical on file to play, practice or even tryout.
MHSAA rules state:
For the 2021-22 school year, an MHSAA pre-participation sports physical is required for all students who participate in sports. A physical examination must be completed on or after April 15, 2021 to be considered a valid physical for 2021-22.
An MHSAA physical form can be found on their website. Completed physicals can be turned in on the first day of practice, or brought to the office at either the high school or Baseline.
